The Winnipeg Speed Skating Club follows Speed Skating Canada’s new First Strides (Learn to Skate) and Fast Strides (Learn to Speed Skate) programs. This program has 10 levels, and we provide report cards in November/December, and March for all our skaters so they can see their progress throughout the season and set goals based on the skills outlined in the report cards.

Make sure your skaters are at the following sessions when we will be testing the skaters for the report cards:

Learn to Skate Program – Thursday, November 14^th

Group 1 Sargent – Monday, December 9^th

Group 1/2/3 River Heights – Tuesday, December 10^th

Group 1 Sargent – Wednesday, December 11^th

Group 1/2/3 River Heights – Thursday, November 21st
