How to register using IceReg:
1. Get ready. Determine your skater’s:
a) WSSC Program – detailed below with fees
b) Register your skater as Provincial (recreational, only our club races, beginners) or Inter-Provincial (competitive, provincial races) and
c) Which days of the week are you registering for:
– Mondays and/or Wednesdays are at Sargent Park Arena
– Tuesdays and/or Thursdays are at Corydon Community Centre
2. CLICK HERE TO GET TO THE REGISTRATION PAGE
3. Click on Register Now on the right side of the page.
4. If this is the first time you have registered your skater, you will first complete a profile for each skater and then be cued to select the Registration Category.
5. The registration process will walk you through:
a. Winnipeg Speed Skating Club Registration
b. Speed Skating Manitoba (SSM) & Speed Skating Canada (SSC) Memberships
c. Waivers (be patient – there are three waivers!)
6. You will be given a choice to register another person or go to the cart. Please choose “register another person” (yourself or another guardian required) as ALL SKATERS NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE GUARDIAN REGISTERED AS AN OFFICIAL OR VOLUNTEER FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES. (Don’t worry, you are not committed to volunteering!) Once you are done registering all skaters and a guardian, you can go to your cart to pay.
7. Once you have paid, you can return to the registration link to rent skates and/or purchase equipment. (This option will not show up until you have registered for a program)
*Other than Speed Skate Rental, please connect with us at an Open House before buying equipment (neck guards or gloves) on Ice Reg so we can check if the equipment type is appropriate for your skater and that we have the correct size for them available.

EQUIPMENT RENTALS
We rent speed skates (ages 6 to 18 years old) for $125 for the season.
We rent skin suits (ages 6 to 12 years old) for $100 for the season. (return $50 at end of the season)
For our First Strides 1 Learn-to-Skate Program, skaters start with their own regular skates (hockey, etc.) and then move to speed skates when they join our full-season programs.
