Join the Winnipeg Speed Skating Club for a FREE 90-minute speed skating lesson on Saturday, February 19 at 3:30 PM.
This event is part of the National Open House sponsored by Speed Skating Canada, organized in conjunction with local speed skating clubs from across the country.
All ages are welcome; participants should have basic skating ability. Speed skates will be provided. Advance registration is required.
There will be limited access to the indoor facility (Cindy Klassen Recreation Centre) for washroom use or, if the weather is cold, a brief warm-up during the event. Currently, all users of the indoor space are required to show proof of vaccination and photo identification. There are no restrictions on use of the outdoor Oval.
